FREEMANS LAUNCHES BRAND STUDIO AND CALLS OUT FOR MORE TO JOIN ‘THE FASTEST GROWING’ DIGITAL DEPARTMENT STORE

DYNAMIC brands are being a offered an exciting opportunity to increase both their sales and profile by joining the UK’s fastest-growing department store. At the same time the Bradford-based on-line retailer launched Brand Studio a new concept to highlight the extensive range of third party brands that are available across fashion, home and beauty.
Freemans, which has seen stellar growth of 65 per cent over the last two years to with customer numbers exceeding one million, as it transitioned from ‘paper’ to a digital department store, has opened its third-party brands programme, offering coveted places on the retailer’s roster.
The pitch is open to brands irrespective of their size, offering a unique opportunity for up-and-coming labels to work alongside established, big-brand names.
Current third-party brands partnering with Freemans include Adidas, Apple, Elizabeth Arden, Disney, Seasalt, Joe Browns, Mango, Monsoon, Cornwall, Wrangler, Dune, Superdry, New Balance and G-Star to name but a few.
New joiners for Summer 23 range include Joules, Radley London, Seasalt Cornwall and Villeroy & Boch -with sales for the customer favourites already trending across the site.
And across Beauty, which as seen sales soar 33% in the five months to May 23, new brands include Max Factor, Rimmel and Gatineau.
Freemans is offering potential places to brands either as exclusives or on standard third-party contracts.
To compliment the retailer has a number of highly-successful own label exclusives, including Lascana, Aniston, Bon Prix, Kaleidoscope, STAR Julien Macdonald, Love Mark Heyes, Abigail Aherne, Siobhan Murphy, and Henry Holland.
