THE WHAT?   Amorepacific Group has partnered with the Korea Resource Circulation Service Agency (KORA) to enhance the recycling of cosmetic glass bottles, addressing the challenge posed by the diverse coatings on these containers that complicate recycling processes.

THE DETAILS  This collaboration aims to minimize environmental impact by implementing a demonstration project starting on Earth Day, April 22, in Gyeonggi Province, focusing on the collection and recycling of cosmetic glass bottles, including those from other companies.

THE WHY?  The project will employ a “Bottle to Bottle” technique, turning collected glass into recycled material for new cosmetic containers. This initiative reflects Amorepacific’s commitment to sustainability and resource circulation, marking its position as a leader in environmental responsibility within the cosmetics industry.
