THE WHAT? LG Electronics is said to be mulling the creation of a line of beauty products to accompany its recently launched Pra.L skin care device.

THE DETAILS The Korea Herald reports that the Korean firm will use a local contract manufacturer and the range could hit shelves in the first half of 2024. LG plans to collaborate with a partner on the research and development.

THE WHY? LG told shareholders in March that it is planning to break into beauty and has hired former AmorePacific executive Man Hye-seong as its Home Beauty Director.
