THE WHAT? Shiseido has named Alberto Noe as CEO for the EMEA region, effective immediately. Noe replaces Franck Marilly, who has been promoted to EMEA Chairman to organise and oversee the work of the Board of Directors.

THE DETAILS According to a report published by Fashion Network, Noe joined the J-beauty giant in 2013 as Country Manager, Italy from L’Oreal and was appointed Chief Business Officer, EMEA in 2019. In 2023 he took on the role of Deputy Managing Director, EMEA.

THE WHY? Shiseido’s press release on the personnel change was as brief and to the point as it gets but it’s fair to assume that Noe was chosen for the role due to his experience as a member of the Executive Committee.
