P&G poaches PepsiCo CIO as Cretella retires

THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble has announced that Chief Information Officer, Vittorio Cretella is due to retire in July. The company has named Seth Cohen as his replacement.

THE DETAILS According to a report published by CIO Dive, Cohen will join the company from PepsiCo, where he holds the role of Global CIO, in April. He will take over as CIO in June.

THE WHY? CIO Dive reveals that Cohen’s experience in connecting data and AI to specific business outcomes will prove invaluable to the Olay manufacturer, helping P&G to accelerate its use of digital capabilities and building digital acumen across the organization.
