THE WHAT? Natura &Co has announced its plan to terminate its secondary listing of American Depositary Shares (ADSs) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) while keeping its primary listing of ordinary shares on the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo.
THE DETAILS The delisting from the NYSE is expected to be effective approximately ten days after Natura &Co file a Form 25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, with trading of the ADSs on the NYSE anticipated to be suspended around February 9, 2024.
THE WHY? Fabio Barbosa, Chief Executive Officer of Natura &Co, stated that the delisting from the NYSE is consistent with the company’s strategy to simplify operations. He thanked the investors who held ADRs and expressed hope for their continued support as shareholders in the B3 market. Despite the delisting, Natura &Co plans to maintain high standards of disclosure and transparency through its listing in Brazil.
