THE WHAT? L’Oreal USA has announced the appointment of Silvia Galfo as President, L’Oreal Luxe. Galfo succeeds Megan Grant and will report to David Greenberg, CEO, L’Oreal USA.

THE DETAILS Galfo’s LinkedIn profile reveals she joined L’Oreal in 2000, leaving for senior roles at David Yurman and Revlon before re-joining the French beauty giant in 2020 as General Manager, Armani Beauty. She was promoted to Chief Growth Officer in July 2023. According to a report published by WWD, Grant’s future plans have not been disclosed.

THE WHY? Greenberg told WWD, “Silvia brings a long and impressive track record of success in all areas of the beauty business. She is a long-term L’Orealian with a world view on beauty and luxury. I am confident that Silvia’s strong leadership and consumer orientation will continue to drive the luxe brand portfolio to new heights in the United States.”
