THE WHAT?  French premium makeup brand La Bouche Rouge has been sold to Dilesh Mehta’s Dubia-based holding company, Beauty Brands Global.

THE DETAILS  As part of the deal, Beauty Brands Global will take control of La Bouche Rouge’s Orléans laboratory and retain around fifteen employees.  A new management team will be brought in to restructure the business. 

THE WHY?  This sale comes in the wake of La Bouche Rouge’s financial challenges in recent years, marked by a revenue of €3.7 million against losses amounting to €6 million in 2022, exacerbated by COVID-19 and significant marketing expenses.
