THE WHAT? British Airways has made the closure of its in-lounge Elemis spas permanent, according to a report published by The Points Guy, quoting Turning Left for Less.
THE DETAILS The treatment areas, located at London Heathrow and New York Kennedy, have been shuttered since the pandemic begun, and will not reopen once restrictions are lifted.
THE WHY? British Airways said in a statement, per The Points Guy, “We’re proud to work with Elemis, a brand our customers love, and we continue to provide their products on board our flights. Our Elemis lounge travel spas have remained closed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and we have decided they will not be reopening. Over the coming months, we will be reviewing new propositions to support our customers’ health and wellbeing pre-flight.”
