Heinemann enters Indian duty free with Noida store

THE WHAT? Heinemann is set to make its debut onto the Indian market, having been awarded duty-free and duty-paid retail concessions at Noida International Airport together with partner BWC Forwarders.

THE DETAILS According to a report published by Inside Retail, Heinemann will operate the Duty Free stores while BWC manages domestic and international duty-paid retail. The duty-free outlet will offer luxury brands across categories.

THE WHY? Marvin von Plato, CEO of Heinemann Asia Pacific, told Inside Retail Asia, “Together with BWC, we look forward to crafting an exceptional retail environment at Noida, and to continuously growing our shared business in India for the long term.”
