THE WHAT? AmorePacific has named Taeho Park President of its China division. Park succeed Mike Hwang and is charged with overseeing business development for the K-beauty behemoth in this key market.

THE DETAILS According to a report published by Shine, Park joined AmorePacific in 2000 and has worked across multiple key roles, most recently heading up the Business Planning Department.

THE WHY? AmorePacific said in a statement, per Shine, that Park’s leadership and management expertise would help guide the China business through a new phase of development. No reason was cited for Hwang’s departure.
